Frequently Asked Questions
Are your commissions open?
Check my Furry-Paws commission topic, my deviantART, or just message me if you aren't on furry-paws. At the bottom of this page is a simple contact form which you can use to message me.
I don't see a price for what I want, what should I do?
Please contact me through one of the above means for a quote.
What can I do with the art I buy from you?
Personal art can not be re-sold. For instance, if you order an image of your character. However, it can be given away with a character that has been sold or traded to someone else. If you are specifically commissioning me for a character, you can do anything you like with that character. It's yours. If you're buying a sketch or line-art, you can re-sell colored versions of it. You can not re-sell it as it is when you receive it. For bases or master files, please ask before re-selling them. Tags obviously can not be re-sold but can go along with characters.
How long will it take?
I try to finish things in a timely manner but obviously sometimes life catches up to me. Considering you aren't paying until the artwork is ready for you, I'd appreciate your patience in the matter. Typically, though, I finish within a few days to a few weeks. When we talk about your order we will establish a deadline we both agree on and I will do my best to complete it by then. In the even that I can not, I will be sure to keep in touch. If I have not contacted you, have not worked on it, and there is no evidence of me being online, then please be aware that something may have happened in real life to make me unavailable.
Can I remind you?
Please DO remind me if I've forgotten you or am taking too long. Even if you haven't paid. I am a forgetful person and even with all my crazy organization, I forget and lose things!
Why do you draw dogs all the time, don't you know you'll never amount to anything selling digital art? Especially of dogs/cats/horses/poop!
I don't sell art to "amount" to anything. I sell art because art is my hobby and I enjoy doing it - and for a small fee I do it for others. It's the same as getting paid to play games so that other people can watch you play (which thousands of people do on YouTube every day, some of them support themselves with it). I am not trying to make a career out of this, nor do I spend my whole day doing nothing but "wasting time on pixels".
Can you do humans, deer, wolverines, etc?
I am not very comfortable with humans, so I do not accept commissions of them. However, I will attempt absolutely anything in the animal kingdom. If it's not satisfactory then I can try again.
Don't you ever do realism?
My style is adapting towards a more realistic style but no, I do not directly do hyper realism.
What sort of currency do you accept and how do I send it?
If you're a member of furry-paws.com, I may be accepting those currencies. Generally I do United States Dollars (USD) commissions. I currently don't accept snail mail (money through the post); I prefer to do the transaction through PayPal. If you live outside of the United States, PayPal will convert your payment to USD for you.
How do I go about arranging a snail-mail order?
Currently I do not accept snail-mail as I do not feel safe giving out my personal address or my friend's addrecc. However, at any time that I am accepting snail mail, you'll have to ask me about it first to be sure I'm taking that option. If I am I'll let you know. Generally I will ask you to do the confirmed delivery option. The cost of confirmed delivery can be subtracted from what you owe me, so you aren't paying more for the commission(s). You must be living in the USA to do snail-mail commissions as I only do them for USD. In regards to the confirmed delivery option - this ensures that you know whether or not the money has been delivered, and may allow you to track the money along the way. There will be no questions to it arriving, unless the mail carrier makes a huge mistake. All snail-mail payments must be sent as a money order or cashier check so that cash is not directly put into the mail and the transactions can be reversed if the money never reaches the final destination.
What do you NOT draw?
I will not do tag commissions of copyright characters at all. Whether from movies, books, television, or games. I will not draw your character dressed as a copyright character. I may draw your character with merchandise of a copyright character, but only at my own discretion and only in a way that I am obviously not "claiming" that character.
Do you do traditional work?
I do, but it is personal. I do not currently sell my traditional work in the form of commissions.
